# What You'll Need:
→ Spiced Tea Concentrate
01 - Water - 2 cups
02 - Black tea bags (Assam or Darjeeling) - 2 bags
03 - Green cardamom pods, lightly crushed - 4 pods
04 - Cinnamon stick - 1 stick
05 - Whole cloves - 4 cloves
06 - Black peppercorns - 4 peppercorns
07 - Fresh ginger, thinly sliced - 1 inch piece
08 - Honey or sugar - 2 tablespoons
→ Milk
09 - Whole milk or plant-based milk - 1.5 cups
# How-To Steps:
01 - In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, cloves, peppercorns, and ginger. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the spices.
02 - Add the tea bags to the simmering spiced water and simmer for an additional 3 minutes.
03 - Remove from heat, strain the concentrate into a heatproof pitcher, and discard solids. Stir in honey or sugar until completely dissolved.
04 - In a separate saucepan, heat milk until steaming without boiling. Optionally, froth the milk using a whisk or milk frother for added creaminess.
05 - Divide the spiced tea concentrate between two mugs. Top each with hot milk and stir gently. Garnish with a pinch of ground cinnamon or cardamom if desired and serve immediately.
